October is National Bully Prevention Month.
We want to educate and inspire everyone to help end bullying in our community. Every child should be able to confidently go to school, participate in extracurricular activities, and be online safely so they can focus on learning, making friends, and growing as a strong individual. We want to be the place where our students and the community can learn the important physical and mental skills to be strong leaders and help end bullying.
⚠️ 47% of Canadian parents report having a child victim of bullying.
⚠️ 40% of Canadian workers experience bullying on a weekly basis
⚠️ At least 1 in 3 adolescent students in Canada have reported being bullied recently*

An article from Century Martial Arts explains that the key to beating bullying is building confidence and self-respect, which will help deal with conflict and confrontation. These life skills and character building, along with self-defense skills, are learned in every session in our Martial Arts programs.
Seeing our students grow more confident as they progress with every stripe, and every belt, is the reason why we do what we do!
